Team
Rasheed began his career at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare Group. During this time Rasheed gained broad exposure to Equity, Debt, M&A and Takeover Defense processes. Over these 2 years, he worked on seven public equity transactions that closed (three IPOs and four follow-ons deals). Following his time at Morgan Stanley, Rasheed spent the next two years as a junior investor at Silicon Valley-based Growth Equity fund; covered Cloud Services, Cybersecurity & Healthcare Technology.
Given Rasheed’s early experience within the banking sector and investing in cloud businesses, it was inevitable he’d find his way into Blockchain/Web3 eventually. Rasheed joined Chainalysis in 2020 in a Strategic Finance function and has played a key role in each capital raise since the Company’s Series C. Since 2020, the Company raised a cumulative $470M in varying funding environments. During this time, Rasheed has contributed meaningfully to managing the fundraising process, as well as operationally across multiple functions. Chainalysis has been a client to 4th Quarter Holdings since 2021, and continues to be a valued partner today.
